Happy Fourth of July!

The family made our last trip to Granbury this weekend to Nana and Papa's house. They are moving next week to the DFW area. We needed to swim in their pool and Scooter needed to play a little golf. We actually had all smiles for once in a picture...and everyone looking!!


Daddy and his kiddos. I don't think he meant to match the theme of the day (but it worked out well for pictures!!) He loves his new Nike golf shirts for playing in the 100+ heat. He almost broke 80 on Saturday, but grabbed the kids on 17 and let them tag along for the last 2 holes. I guess the extra "helpers" threw him off his game. Sorry Scooter, but they had a blast!!

Most of Saturday was spent in the pool with Nana and BB. Jewel was swimming, learning how to dive off the ledge, and even jumped into the pool from the side!! She is a fish. She swam so much, she slept until almost 9:00 am the next morning. Bubba loved the big blue float. Scooter finally go him to ride in his own little float. We have tried and tried at our pool, but he screams, so we take him out because people give us dirty looks!! Jewel got to watch the fireworks from the neighbor's drive way. Not as fun as last year when she was up close and personal in Pappy's boat on Lake Waco.
