The much anticipated Fancy Nancy tea party was last Friday (sorry for the delay in posting). Jewel was again very excited and couldn't wait to attend her first "real" tea party. She picked out her outfit for the special occasion. She chose a floor-length yellow gown with sparkles and tulle skirt and sleeves. (This was an old dance costume of Ash-a-ley's that we use for dress up.) She also accessorized her ensemble with red crocs and pearl necklace. Yes, she was very fancy!!All of the girls were dressed so cute. Jewel's BFF wore her Snow White costume to the tea party. There were Sunday dresses, cute sundresses and girls in dress-up costumes.
This was a picture of her curtsy that they had been practicing all week. If you see Jewel, ask her to show you her Fancy Nancy walk. It is really cute!! Jewel was a little bit disappointed in the actual tea party. When we asked her about it, she said, "They didn't even have a real teapot or sugar and cream bowls. They poured lemonade out of the box!!" Oh the horror!! ;)
As always, Bubba (and Mama Bird) had to get into the action of picture taking. We aren't as fancy as Jewel, but a cute pic none the less.
