Just as Frosty was melting, we had ANOTHER snow storm. More big beautiful flakes. It snowed all afternoon and into the night, but only a thin layer of ice remained in the morning. We were better bundled up this time...except for Jewel's pants. She wore several layers, fleece hat, gloves, coat and hood. Her blue jeans were not the best pants, but that was all she had. Thankfully she could still fit her rainboots.
Bubba inherited some snow pants and boots from a family friend. Mama Bird didn't think he would ever get to wear them, so I was pleasantly surprised. He stayed dry and warm this time around. He even had some lavender mittens from when Jewel was little to keep his hands warm. He thought they were puppets at first and spent some time talking to himself and his hands. LOL.
The kids met up with Jewel's BFF and her brother to make a family of snowmen. They were exhausted when they returned. Check out all of their fun:
