After making several kinds of cookies, homemade cinnamon rolls (thank you Pioneer Lady), breakfast casserole, and several appetizers, we were ready for Christmas Eve. Nana and Papa came from the country and BB and Uncle Donnie ventured from Big D to celebrate with us. As we were preparing to go to church, we had a little Christmas Miracle...a white Christmas in Texas. It was actually more like a blizzard!! Huge flakes coming down and blanketing the streets. Beautiful, but a little tricky to drive in. An added bonus...it stayed around until the next morning and the kids were able to make a snowman.

The family had a wonderful holiday with family and friends. On Christmas Day, we visited BB and Uncle Donnie for prime rib and all the fixins. De-lish!!
