Today I took Bubba to the doctor for his 18 month check up. After waiting for over an hour to see the doctor (which is not fun with an 18 month old who is ready for lunch) we got some interesting news. Bubba had an ear infection about a month ago...and she told us he still had one and it was worse!! Poor guy. We are now on a stronger antibiotic and go back in a few weeks to get rechecked.
He gained a pound since his last visit, so he is 26 pounds and is 34 inches tall. People always comment on how tall he is and then gasp when they find out he is only 18 months. Well, when your dad is 6'3", I hope he is going to be tall. Both of my kids will be towering over me before too long. :)
Everything else looked good. We need to work on naming his body parts and making 2 - 3 word phrases. We also need to get off the baby food...which will not be pretty!!
Overall, a good visit.
