This morning we had a play date with one of Jewel's friends from school. His mom and I also used to teach together. Their birthdays are only 2 days apart and they play together really well...probably because he lets Jewel boss him around. After playing at the park (the weather was perfect), we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch. All of the fun wore Jewel out, who took an nice, long nap. Bubba on the other hand, not so much. I am just waiting for him to collapse. :) He LOVES the swings and could swing for hours.

Jewel is still working on the monkey bars. She can get herself about half-way across before dropping. This one is fairly low to the ground, so she doesn't mind falling. Tomorrow is the egg hunt at her school and then one more in Waco on Saturday. Hopefully Yaya and Pappy are resting up for our invasion.
