What girl does not enjoy a little pampering every now and then?? Jewel is no exception. We have been promising her a trip to the nail salon for her birthday, with the catch that she must stop picking her fingernails and toenails. She has kept her part of the bargain, so we had to keep ours. I couldn't let her have all the fun, so Mommy had to get one too!!From the moment we walked in, the smile on Jewel's face never faded. She talked the sweet lady's ear off with all of her questions and comments. She had the entire salon giggling along with her while they were loofa-ing the bottoms of her feet. Jewel didn't enjoy the leg massage because they were squishing her legs!! ;) She HAD to get flowers on her toes, but I drew the line on the fingernails. It wasn't my most relaxing trip to the salon, but it was definitely the most enjoyable!! I know she can't wait until next time...
