Thanksgiving Feast: Kindergarten Style

Decisions, decisions. Jewel could not decide if she wanted to be a pilgrim or indian for her Thanksgiving feast. Finally, she chose to be an indian because she didn't like the little white collar that the pilgrim girls had to wear. Every child was asked to bring a dish to share. We were assigned pumpkin bread which I am pretty sure they did not serve at the first Thanksgiving, but it was easy for Mama Bird, so I am not complaining!!

Did you notice that Jewel is sitting at the head of the table??!

Jewel is raising her hand to tell them she is ready. They had quite a spread. Turkey, ham, two kinds of potatoes, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread stuffing, fruit salad, pumpkin bread, rolls, and pie. She was stuffed by the time we got home.

The little man went as well. His feast wasn't as grand, but he still had a good time!

This is the rest of the table from Jewel's vantage point. With all of the parents and kids, the room was packed. :)
