Yesterday we hit the Conservation Museum. They had a two-headed snake and lots of fish. The kids enjoyed all of the turkey calls. Nana even got into the act with a hunter.

Jewel also climbed into the hunter's tree stand. I don't think she could sit still or be quiet enough for a deer to get within a mile of her. :)
Bubba might be more the hunter. Sitting still might be a problem, but he is much quieter than his sister. Scooter can't wait to get him in some camo.

They also had a replica of a beaver hut that the kids thought was pretty fun. We also hit up a local farm supply store to see live bunnies, chicks, ducks, quail, and two LARGE turkeys. Thank goodness Mama Bird is "allergic" to these types of animals or we might have brought one home. They worked on me pretty hard. ;) After lunch and naps, Papa took everyone to DQ for an ice cream and then to the park. Then a ride on Papa's Rhino...I'll have to get a picture of that!
Jewel will have lots to write about for school.
