Neighborhood Egg Hunt

Yesterday, we started our Saturday with a VERY windy soccer game. Jewel has improved so much since last season. I am not sure if she is getting better or if the American Girl outfits Scooter bribed her with lit a fire. What ever the reason, she is becoming a great defensive player. She blocked two goals and was always in the midst of the action. Mama Bird is so proud of her!! Aunt BB and Uncle Don were able to see her improvement as well. They went to a game last season, and couldn't believe how far she had come. Yea Jewel!!

Our neighborhood held its annual egg hunt in the afternoon. The weather was beautiful except for the wind. Bubba is not a fan of the wind...as you can see he is snuggled up to his big sister.

All of the kids from our street. You will recognize Jewel's BFF on the left, Jewel, our next door neighbor D, Bubba (who can't stop looking in his basket), and Jewel's BBF's brother. They all play out in the street on nice days.

Jewel holding one of the many animals. They had rabbits, chicks, ducks, goats, guinea pigs, a donkey, and a llama.

Bubba trying his hand at feeding a baby goat or lamb.
