Jewel joined the Girl Scouts, just like her Mama many years ago. She is loving it and has a great group of girls and wonderful leaders. This afternoon, they had their Daisy Investiture Ceremony, which means that she "officially" became a Daisy. She has learned the Girl Scout motto and pledge. She looks forward to their meetings to see what kind of craft they will make or game they will play. She is all about earning badges!!

At the end of each meeting, they have a friendship circle. Getting out...looks a little difficult! Jewel will be selling cookies in January, so get ready. Mama Bird will surely pack on the pounds from those evil Thin Mints. Mama Bird also has a new role...Cookie Mama. :)
