More MO Fun

We spent most of our time in Missouri in the Jackson/Cape Girardeau area. Nana and Papa are from this part of southeast MO and most of their families live here. We were able to see my great aunts and lots of cousins and family friends. Nana and Papa are building a house on my grandparent's land. It should be ready in early fall. This was the last time Aunt Marfa, Uncle Markie and Ash-a-ley would have to put us up. They are probably saying, "Thank goodness!! Mama Bird's family comes in like a tornado!" They all need a vacation now that we have left. :) We really appreciated all they did for us while we were there.

Jewel loves her Uncle Markie and was attached to him from the moment he walked in the door. Aunt Marfa patiently answered all of Jewel's questions and tolerated Bubba's outbursts. Ash-a-ley would color and draw pictures with Jewel. She even ventured to the park with us one afternoon and it was hot as blazes.

Thanks guys! Hopefully we didn't break anything or terrorize the dog too much.
