Happy Birthday Bubba!!

My little man is TWO!! I can still remember the day he was born and how little he was. Bubba was certainly not an easy baby, but in the past six months or so, he has grown out of his fussy baby stage (thank goodness) and become a super-sweet and HAPPY toddler. Let's hope the terrible twos pass us by...fingers crossed! :)

Bubba loves his big sister and is talking and mumbling up a storm. He wants to do whatever Jewel is doing. He is singing his ABC's and counting. He loves letters and numbers almost as much as he loves cartoons. Bubba says please and thank you and will always greet you with a hi or tell you good-bye. Can't wait to see what surprises are in store for this next year. We love you Bubba!!

On Friday, Bubba opened some of his presents and shared a chocolate molten cake with his sister for a special dessert. Yaya and Pappy drove in from Waco and stayed the night with us.

We got Bubba a big boy haircut the day before his birthday. He looks so cute when he'll let me use some gel and spike it up in the front!

Jewel was ready to lend a helping hand in opening Bubba's gifts. He was happy to sit back and watch her open HIS gifts. Don't think that will last much longer. :)

Jewel picked out this bowling set as her gift to Bubba. They had so much fun setting up the pins and knocking them down. Bubba has pretty good aim and is fanatical about setting up the pins just so (which is another trait he gets...unfortunately...from Mama Bird)!!
